Deactivating and Reactivating a Resident Profile

Access inactive resident records under Manage Facility

FAQ: How do I deactivate a resident's profile and view their profile later if I need to activate them again?

  1. Navigate to the Resident's Profile

    • Open the resident's profile from the dashboard.
    • At the bottom left of the profile, you’ll see an “Inactive” button.
  2. Select the Reason for Inactivation

    • Click the “Inactive” button.
    • Choose a reason for inactivation, such as:
      • Deceased
      • Discharged to another facility
      • Discharged to home
      • Other (you can add custom text).
    • Confirm the action to inactivate the resident.
  3. View the Resident's Status and Notes

    • Once deactivated, the resident’s profile will display their updated status.
    • A progress note will also be automatically generated.
    • To add or edit additional notes:
      • Go to the progress notes section.
      • Click the three dots next to the note and select “Edit”.
  4. Find Inactive Residents

    • Go to “Manage Facility”.
    • Select the “Resident” section.
    • Click on the “Inactive” tab to view all inactive residents.
  5. Reactivate the Resident

    • Select the resident’s profile from the inactive list.
    • Click the “Activate” button to reactivate them.
    • The resident’s status will return to active.
  6. Update Progress Notes

    • After reactivating the resident, ensure you update any necessary information in the progress notes.
