Notes and Best Practices
-
Instructions Field: Always revise the default text. The autogenerated instructions often do not make clinical sense and must be rewritten for accuracy.
-
Health Monitoring Link: Tying a medication or order to a health monitoring vital ensures the value is recorded at administration, improving documentation and oversight.
-
Site Documentation: Entering where the injection or fingerstick was performed improves tracking and complies with nursing best practices.
