Add a Medication with a Frequency of Every 60 Hours
How to create a two-part medication schedule to accommodate an administration frequency of every 60 hours.
FAQ: I have a Fentanyl patch that says to apply every 60 hours, I don't see that frequency.

Create a New Medication

Navigate to the resident's profile and click Add Medication.

Enter the medication name (e.g., Fentanyl). If the correct strength is not available in the dropdown, you can hit the spacebar and then backspace to manually type in the strength and units.

Configure the First Frequency (Part 1)

Scroll down and click Add a new frequency.

Set the frequency to Every Other Day.

Set the administration time for the first dose (e.g., 9:00 AM).

Set the Start Date for when this schedule will begin (e.g., July 15th).

Enter the dose (e.g., 1 patch).

Configure the Second Frequency (Part 2)

Click Add a new frequency again to create the second part of the schedule.

Set this frequency to Every Other Day.

Set the administration time for the second dose (e.g., 9:00 PM).

Set the Start Date to the day after the start date of Part 1 (e.g., July 16th).

Enter the dose.

Save and Verify the Schedule

Ensure the instructions in the main text box match the order.

Click Save.

On the Medlog, you will now see the medication scheduled on alternating days at the different times you set (e.g., on the 15th at 9 AM, then on the 16th at 9 PM, followed by the 17th at 9 AM, and so on).
