- Click "Add Medication."
- Search for the drug name (e.g., Loperamide) and select it from the list.
- To distinguish this as the initial dose, append something like "Take-2" to the drug name.
- Add all the other info and save the order.

Create the Second Order (Follow-Up Dose)
- Add a second medication order.
- Use the same drug name but append something like "Take-1" to distinguish it from the first order.
- Add all the other info and save the order.

Administer the Medications
- During the medpass, select the first order (e.g., "Take-2") to administer the initial 2 capsules.
- Once the initial dose is given, select the second order (e.g., "Take-1") for subsequent doses of 1 capsule, ensuring the total does not exceed the maximum allowed.

Document Effectiveness
- After administering the medication, go to the effectiveness section for the order.
- Complete the documentation (e.g., noting whether the patient had a bowel movement).
