Navigate to the Medication Section in EMAR
- Go to the EMAR section in Synkwise.
- Under "Drug Name," select the medication that requires vital tracking.

Enter Medication Details
- Choose the medication (e.g., Lisinopril).
- Set the start date, frequency, time, and dose.
- In the instructions, add any special requirements, such as: "Hold if systolic blood pressure is less than 100."

Add Vital Tracking
- Scroll down to "Restrictions / Health Monitoring."
- Click the button to add a vital requirement.
- Select Blood Pressure and set the parameter (e.g., less than 100).
- Select Heart Rate if necessary (you can leave parameters blank if only tracking).

Save and Review the Medication Setup
- Double-check all entries to ensure accuracy.
- Click Save to apply the changes.

Check Vitals During Med Pass
- In Med Pass, icons for Blood Pressure and Heart Rate will appear.
- The "Not Given" button will be active until vitals are checked.

Enter the Required Vitals
- Input the blood pressure reading.
- If below the required threshold (e.g., 99), the system will prompt Do Not Give the medication.
- Input the heart rate reading to complete the vitals check.

Correcting a Mistake in Vitals
- If an incorrect vital was entered, it can be deleted and updated.
- Re-enter the correct blood pressure (e.g., 101/65), save it, and proceed with administering the medication.
