Tailor your dashboard to highlight what matters most!

FAQ: I want to remove some of the items from the dashboard for my caregiver. How can I customize their dashboard?

  1. Enter Customization Mode

    • Click the Customize Dashboard button at the top of your screen to begin editing. This function is available to users with Admin or Workspace Admin roles.

  2. Arrange Dashboard Widgets

    • Once in customization mode, click and drag any widget to move it to a new position on the dashboard. The widgets will automatically snap to the nearest available space.

    • Click and drag the corner of a widget to resize it.

  3. Add, Configure, and Remove Widgets

    • To add a new widget, find it in the panel on the right-hand side and drag it onto your dashboard. You can add multiple instances of the same widget.

    • To change what a widget displays, click the three dots icon on the widget and select Settings.

    • To remove a widget from the dashboard, click the three dots icon on the widget and select Remove.

  4. Edit Shortcuts

    • Click Edit Shortcuts in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

    • Check or uncheck the boxes to show or hide default application shortcuts like MedPass or MedLog.

    • Click Add Custom Shortcut to add a link to an external website, such as a Google Sheet or a medical reference site. Enter a name and the URL, then save.

  5. Save or Reset Your Changes

    • Once you are finished customizing, click the Save button to apply your new layout.

    • If you want to revert all changes, click Reset to Default to return the dashboard to its original state.

  6. Enable Dashboard Customization for Staff Roles

    • To allow other staff members to customize their own dashboards, you must create and assign a custom role with that permission enabled.

    • Navigate to Administration and select Manage Roles.

    • Click to create a new role, and choose to copy an existing role, like "Caregiver," as a template.

    • In the role settings, check the box that allows users to Customize their own dashboard.

    • Save the new custom role and assign it to the staff members who need this permission.
