Dashboard Overview and Navigation Guide

A comprehensive overview of the dashboard, explaining its layout, key features, and navigation

  1. Understand the Top Navigation Bar

    • Synkwise Icon: Click this icon from any page to return to the main dashboard.

    • Hamburger Menu: Click the icon with three horizontal lines to expand or collapse the left sidebar menu.

    • Facility Switcher: Use the dropdown menu at the top to switch between different facilities you have access to.

    • Search Bar: Search for residents or staff to quickly navigate to specific sections of their profiles.

    • Know More Button: Look for this button in different sections to access short video tutorials relevant to that page.

    • Quick Access Center: View and complete all tasks assigned for the current day.

    • Notification Bell: Click this to view a log of all recent system and staff activity.

    • Profile Icon: Click your profile picture or icon to access your personal profile, documents, timesheets, and settings.

  2. Use the Main Dashboard Area

    • Customize Dashboard: If you have permission, click this to add, remove, or rearrange the widgets on your dashboard.

    • Shortcuts: Use the customizable shortcut icons to navigate directly to frequently used pages, such as the MedPass.

  3. Review Dashboard Widgets

    • Facility: Displays the total number of residents and any expiring documents or forms.

    • Resident: Shows a list of all residents and includes a button to add a new resident.

    • Assessments & Care Plans: Alerts you to any assessments or care plans that are expiring soon.

    • Timesheets: Allows you to clock in and out for your shifts.

    • Alerts: Notifies you of missed medications within the last 72 hours and important health monitor updates, like a resident having no bowel movements.

    • Pharmacy Orders: Shows pending pharmacy orders that need to be approved or dismissed.

    • Appointments & Reminders: Lists upcoming appointments and allows you to add new ones.

    • Medications: Tracks important medication information, including refills, expiring meds, and refused or discontinued doses.

    • Facility Staff: Displays a list of staff members and alerts you to their expiring documents or forms. You can also switch the view between a grid and a list.

  4. Navigate with the Sidebar Menu

    • Use the main menu on the left side of the screen to navigate to all major sections of the Synkwise platform.
