Disable Health Monitor Dashboard Alerts

The guide provides instructions for disabling health monitor alerts that notify caregivers about a resident's bowel movements. These alerts are on by default but can be turned off for specific residents to reduce unnecessary notifications.

Access the Resident's Profile:

  • Navigate to the Resident Care section on the dashboard.
  • Select the profile of the resident for whom you want to disable the alerts. In this example, let's go to George's profile.

Modify Profile Preferences:

  • Scroll to the bottom left of the profile page, where you'll find the Profile Preference section.
  • Click on it to expand the options, where you’ll see the Dashboard Alerts settings.

Disable Health Monitor Alerts:

  • Within the dashboard alerts section, you have the option to turn off specific alerts, such as Missed Medications or Health Monitor Alerts.
  • Toggle off the Health Monitor Alerts. This will stop any bowel movement (BM) alerts for that particular resident.

Verify the Changes:

  • Return to the dashboard to confirm that the changes have been applied.
  • You should now see the updated list of residents without the health monitor alerts for the selected individual.

Recording Bowel Movements:

For other residents, like Karen, you can continue to record bowel movements if necessary:

  • Select the Record option next to the resident's name.
  • Enter the relevant details, such as the type of bowel movement (e.g., small, formed) and the time it occurred.
  • Save the results to ensure they are displayed in the Health Monitor Report section.

Conclusion:

Disabling health monitor alerts is a straightforward process that allows caregivers to customize the alert system according to the needs of each resident. This feature ensures that only relevant notifications are received, improving the efficiency of care and reducing unnecessary alerts.
