Give Staff Members Access to a Facility

Give access to the whole facility or just the individual resident in that facility

FAQ: My caregiver does not see the facility when they log in; how do I give them access?

FAQ: I need to give access to a family member but only one resident; how do I provide them with access to their loved one?

  1. Check for Staff Member in Accounts Section

    • Verify if the staff member appears under the Accounts section.
    • If they are not listed, ensure they were assigned to a facility during the staff creation process.
  2. Assign Facility Access via Administration

    • Navigate to "Administration" and select "Manage Access."
    • Locate and select the staff member in question.
  3. Configure Facility Access

    • Review the facility list:
      • Facilities with access will be highlighted, and all residents will be accessible.
      • Facilities without access will display "No access configured for this home."
    • Select the facility and grant "Access to all residents."
  4. Save Changes

    • Click "Save."
    • A confirmation message, "Access was updated," will appear.
  5. Verify Access for the Staff Member

    • The staff member can now log in and see the assigned home.
    • If the staff member has access to multiple homes, they can use the dropdown menu at the top to switch between facilities.
