Health Monitor Charting
Efficiently manage residents' health data with Synkwise's Health Monitor. Caregivers can quickly enter and review vital signs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for quality care.
Using the Health Monitor in Resident Care
1. Access Resident Care

Navigate to the Resident Care section of the platform.

Select a resident’s profile (e.g., Mary Beth Richardson).
2. Open Health Monitor

At the top of the resident's profile, click the Health Monitor icon to access the section where vital signs and other health data can be entered.
3. View Previous Entries
-
To view previously entered data, click the down arrow to expand the vital section.

Click the three dots next to any logged value to view, edit, duplicate, or delete the entry.
4. Set Vital Parameters

Click the "Vital Parameters" button at the top of the Health Monitor page.

Set specific thresholds for each vital sign as needed, then click Save.
5. Add a Blood Pressure Reading

Click "Add Value" on the right side of the screen.

Enter the reading (e.g., 120/60), along with the date and time.

Click Save to document. The entry will include the name of the staff member and the timestamp.
6. Review and Adjust Blood Pressure Alerts

Click on "Blood Pressure" to view a list of readings.

Readings outside the set parameters appear in red.
-
Adjust the reading to reflect updated values; the red alert disappears when the reading is within range.

8. Fluid and Catheter Tracking

For residents requiring fluid intake monitoring, record each entry accordingly.

If a catheter is present, document urine output based on the bag label.
9. View Vital Statistics Reports

Click "Vital Statistics" at the top of the Health Monitor page to open the Reports module.

Scroll to the bottom to view the default monthly report (six vital signs displayed initially).
10. Customize Report Display

Scroll to the top and use the dropdown menu to select additional vital signs.

Use the checkboxes to choose which ones to display.
-
Click Print to preview the customized monthly report.
11. Access Past Reports
-
Click the calendar icon at the top to view reports from previous months.
