Understanding Progress Notes in Synkwise

Accessing Progress Notes

Click on the resident's profile from the dashboard.

Navigate to the Notes section.

Creating a Progress Note

Click on New.
-
Enter a subject for the note (predefined options available).

Add a description, including free text, images, and links.

Designate the date, time, and importance level (Low, Routine, Important, Critical).

Save and Close or Save as Draft.

Importance of Importance Field

Notes marked as Important or Critical are displayed on the dashboard for all staff members to see.

Ensures important information is easily accessible and visible to everyone.

Additional Options

Shortcut button in MedPass for quick note-taking.

Ability to create notes for staff members or at the facility level.

More options & settings are available by clicking on the three dots of a progress note.

View more option allows users to see when a note was viewed.

Promotes accountability and ensures everyone is informed and on the same page.
