FAQ: How can I see what time meds were signed off?

Access the Administration Settings

Make sure you are logged in as an Admin, Workspace Admin, or have a custom role with permissions enabled.

Navigate to the Administration settings panel.

Enable Late Entry Auditing in EMAR

Go to the Workspace Settings.

Under the EMAR section, locate the Drug Administrations area.

Find the Audit Late Entries toggle and enable it.

This feature tracks if a medication was administered outside of the scheduled time range.

Understand What Qualifies as a Late Entry

For example, if a med is scheduled at 8:00 AM but documented as given at 9:01 AM, it will be marked as late.

View Late Entries in MedPass

Go to the EMAR and select a resident.

Open the MedPass section.

When a medication is administered late, the charted time will appear in red.

The system records who charted it and the exact timestamp.

Review the MedLog

Go to the MedLog to see all late entries.

Late entries are visually indicated with a red circle and a checkmark.

This helps identify staff who consistently administer meds outside the approved window.
