I Cannot Mark Given on the Med Pass

Administration Range should be set to 1h by default under the workspace settings

FAQ: I cannot pass meds on the Med Pass, it's showing white and not yellow to make as given.

1. Check the Medication Time Window

  • If a medication time is grayed out, it means you're outside the allowed time range.
  • Synkwise has a default medication administration window of 1 hour before and after the scheduled time.

2. Adjust the Medication Administration Range

  • Go to Settings under Administration.
  • Click on the EMAR tab.
  • Locate Med Administration Range and check the setting.
  • If it's set to "1M," that means the range is only 1 minute. Adjust it accordingly.

3. Save and Check EMAR

  • Save your changes and go back to EMAR.
  • Navigate to MedPass and scroll down.
  • If the time slot is now yellow, you're within the allowed range and can pass the medication.
  • Mark where you applied the medication, and you're all set.
