Inactivating a Resident Profile

Step-by-step instructions for updating a resident's status and managing associated notes.

  1. How to Inactivate a Resident

    • Navigate to the Resident's Profile

      • From the dashboard, open the resident's profile.

      • Click the "Inactivate Resident" button at the bottom left of the profile.

    • Select a Reason for Inactivation

      • Click "Inactivate".

      • Choose a reason from the list:

        • Deceased

        • Discharged to another facility

        • Discharged to home

        • Other (enter custom text)

      • Confirm the action to inactivate the resident.

    • Review Status and Notes

      • The resident’s profile will now show their updated status.

      • A progress note will be generated automatically.

      • To add or edit notes:

        • Go to the Progress Notes section.

        • Click the three dots next to the note and select "Edit".
