How to reset your own password and how a workspace admin can reset a password for a staff member.

FAQ: My staff cannot log in, and I'm locked out of my own account. How can I reset these passwords?


How to Reset Your Password

  1. Go to Your Workspace Login Page

    • Ensure you are on the correct workspace URL. If you don't know your workspace URL, go to synkwise.com, click Sign In, and use the Find your workspace tool by entering your email.

  2. Request a Password Reset

    • On your workspace login page, click Forgot password.

    • Enter your email address and click Continue.

    • You will receive an email by default, but you can also choose to reset via SMS if your phone number is registered to your account.

  3. Check Your Email

    • Open the email and click the Reset Password link. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

  4. Create a New Password

    • On the reset page, create a new password that includes a capital letter, a special symbol, and numbers.

    • You can now log in with your new password.

How an Admin Can Reset a Staff Member's Password

  1. Navigate to Manage Accounts

    • As a workspace admin, go to Administration.

    • Select Management, then click Manage Accounts.

  2. Generate a Reset Link

    • Find the staff member in the list and click the three dots next to their name.

    • Select Reset Password.

    • Click Generate a link, then Copy the link.

    • Share the copied link with the staff member, which they can paste into their URL bar to set a new password.
