Utilizing the Task Manager Option

How to Add Wound Care Treatments for Residents: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Accessing Task Manager

    • Select a resident from the list.

    • Click on the blue circle with a plus sign in the bottom right corner.

    • Choose "Add Task" from the options.

  2. Creating a Wound Care Task

    • Type in "Wound Care" as the task.

    • Select the frequency (e.g., daily).

    • Set the start date (e.g., November 17th).

    • Choose the time for the task to be completed.

    • Add a description of the wound care treatment.

  3. Assigning the Task

    • Select the resident.

    • Assign specific staff members or leave it open for everyone.

  4. Utilizing Health Monitoring and Progress Notes

    • Toggle on the health monitor for skin monitoring.

    • Toggle on progress notes to track additional details.

  5. Saving the Task

    • Click on "Save" to confirm the task.

  6. Completing the Wound Care Task

    • Go to the tasks in ADLs.

    • Click on "Done" once the task is completed.

    • Provide details on the skin check and any observations.

    • Add progress notes if necessary.

    • Complete the task to finalize the process.

  7. Reviewing the Completed Task

    • Verify that the wound care is marked as completed.

    • Ensure that progress notes and skin check data are recorded.
